As with no updates for eight nearly nine months, the Tweetbot 4 mac app hasn’t happened and nothing really from the company not even a teaser for what’s to come. To be honest, I’m very disappointed with Tweetbot, it just seems that the company doesn’t care anymore, they got people to subscribe, push out a few updates and then give up. Yes the app is a tiny bit pricey at £9.99 but that’s an outright purchase with NO subscriptions and If your not interested in the iPad (or mac) app there’s Spring mini for £5.99. I’ve been using Spring for the last 24 hours and it’s miles better, more customisation, frequent updates (with TestFlight to participate in beta updates), support for Twitters latest features and support for the latest features with iOS 16. So on November 3rd 2022, I cancelled my subscription, left the app installed in the unlikely event theres an update and bought Spring. Meanwhile Twitter over the past eight months has rolled out some nice new features and the updates to iOS, that Tweetbot doesn’t take advantage of. ![]() Nearly eight months after I signed up to the annual subscription of £5.99. ![]() I was a little hesitant but in March, I signed up.
